On-Set Editing
Post-Production is Changing
icture this... you've just finished wrapping your last day of filming and the crew is putting the gear to bed. You walk over to your on-set editor's station as they are putting the last couple of touches together-- and-- CLICK! P

There it is-- a complete rough cut of the film you just wrapped. The next day, you're giving notes on the cut.

It's doable. And it blew our minds the first time we pulled it off.
On-Set Editing is an innovative service in the film and TV industry, allowing editors to compile footage/sound and start cutting the picture directly on set. This process results in a rough or assembly cut by the end of the shoot, streamlining the post-production process, saving any production time and money.
How We Make It Happen
Using a slick Frame.io and Premiere Pro workflow, we work with your existing DIT workflow to sync footage proxies directly to the cloud. With Premiere Pro integration, the Assembly and Rough-Cut are built on set.
Why It Rocks
-
Immediate Feedback: Director and DoP can see a cut during filming, allowing for real-time adjustments.
-
Cost-Effective: Minimizes reshoots by identifying issues on set before the day is over.
-
Efficiency: Reduces overall post-production time by starting the editing process earlier.
Post-Production Process
After production wraps, the project moves directly through traditional post-production stages: But you're already past the first hump.
